It is a kind of equipment which uniformly mixes two(or more)kinds of liquids,or one kind of liquid with one kind of solid or gas under a certain pressure and temperature by means of an agitator to promote the chemical reaction.The chemical reaction is mormally associated with heat effect.A heat exchanger brings in the heat needed or takes out the heat developed. The equipment mainly consists of three parts_tanks.jacket and agitation system.A frame type agitation system is mostly used for agitation to ensure that the materials are mixed adequately in a short period of time.Mechanical sealings are used to guarantee the required pressure in the tank and to prevent pollution caused by possible escape of the materials from the tank.The parts of the reactor which come into contact with the materials are all made of such stainless steels of fine quality as 1Cr18Ni9Ti and 316L to the standard of hygine in pharmaceutics.
